After a successful event in the state of New York at the Orange County Fair Speedway, the United Racing Club 360 Winged Sprint Car Series will make its second ever visit to north central Pennsylvania at the Clinton County Speedway this Friday night, July 21st. Gates will open at 5:00pm with racing at 7:30pm. All 358 sprint car teams and PASS and Laurel Highland 305 sprint car teams are welcome to compete.
After a day off, the series will be at the Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, July 23rd to join the 410 sprint cars in an open wheel doubleheader. Pit gates will be open at 4:00pm with racing at 7:00pm. All Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedway 358 sprint car teams are again welcome to participate in the event.
Jordan Thomas picked up the most recent victory in New York in the 19 car field and along with second place finisher Danny Varin, the New Yorkers took home the biggest paychecks. Davie Franek of Wantage, NJ completed the podium by finishing 3rd after starting mid-pack in 12th. Modified driver Billy VanInwegen, Jr. finished 4th and URC regular Adam Carberry rounded out the top 5.
After 5 events, Josh Weller continues to lead the point standings over Hayden Miller and Brandon McGough.
