The United Racing Club Returns to Big Diamond and Selinsgrove Speedways this Weekend
The United Racing Club will be returning to coal country when they head up to Big Diamond Speedway this Friday night June 19th. This is the 8th event of the 2015 URC racing schedule. Curt Michael and Mark Smith are both tied with 3 wins each and 2014 URC Champion Davie Franek has a win as well. The Big Diamond Speedway event will have a 20 car starting field and a total purse of $8,500 with $1,500 to the winner and $200 to start.
On Saturday night the United Racing Club will head to Selinsgrove Speedway for the Mach 1 National Open and a hefty $10,000 awaits the winner. Mark Smith has won the 2 previous events there but watch for URC regulars Robbie Stillwaggon, Curt Michael and Davie Franek to all compete for the win.
Friday night gates open at 5:15pm and warm ups at 7:45pm and racing at 8:15pm. Saturday night gates open at 5:30pm, warm ups at 7pm and racing at 7:30pm.
