URC and SSP decide to Cancel Last two events

The United Racing Club and Susquehanna Speedway Park have decided to mutually pull the plug on the remaining two shows. The United Racing Club and SSP had partnered on two previously successful shows this year. The first show featured 39 360/358 which included 20 United Racing Club members, a handful of other local 360 drivers, outsiders from ESS, 358 regulars, and some 410 stars. Mark smith was the winner of the first show at SSP followed by Curt Michael, and Aaron Ott. The second Show at SSP took place on July 19 which found Mark Smith in victory lane again followed by Robbie Stillwaggon, and Curt Michael. This Show featured 18 of the area’s best 360’s on a track that was multiple lanes and produced some great racing.
URC and SSP had a great relationship throughout the 2015 season and wish each other continued success throughout the remainder of the year. URC will be at Orange County this Saturday followed by Delaware Int. on Aug. 29. The Race at Delaware Int. will be the 1st annual URC Kids Night. Which will feature bike give a ways, bike races and games for Kids. The Final United Racing Club Points Race will take place at the Port Royal Speedway October 17. The URC competitors will also challenge some of the north’s best at Thunder Mountain and Utica Rome with the Empire Super Sprint.
