B&G Auto Body Presents the URC Sprints at Georgetown Speedway
This Friday May 13th the United Racing Club travels to Georgetown Speedway for the first time this year. In 2015, the United Racing Club returned to Georgetown Speedway and what a show the 360 sprints put on as Davie Franek, Curt Michael and Josh Weller all battled for the win. Franek will be looking to duplicate his 2015 win and with the passing of crew member and longtime driver and owner Guy Howie, the win would be a special way to pay tribute to his longtime friend.
With the May 7th Delaware International Speedway race now being rescheduling for May 21st the once anticipated off weekend now has a points race on Saturday night. After the Delaware race the United Racing Club will have a full Memorial Day weekend planned as they will travel to Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday May 28th for the annual running of the Kramer Cup and then Sunday May 29th as part of a three day weekend at the Port Royal Speedway.
Friday night May 13th, pit gates will open at 4 p.m. Grandstand gates will unlock at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., with racing at 7:15 p.m.
Adult grandstand admission is just $15. Seniors (ages 65 and up) and Students (ages 13-17) pay $12. Kids 9-12 pay $8 and children under eight years old are admitted free.
Pit admission is $30, with no license required.
